Kuching Xmas Parade 17/12/11

KUCHING: The fine weather and good coordination between organisers and authorities allowed the Christmas Parade in the city centre here last Saturday night to proceed smoothly without any glitches and problems.

It involved a big crowd of close to 6,000 people, both young and old. Dressed as Santa Claus, Santarina or wearing costumes depicting Biblical characters, participants were seen cheerful as they spread the message of peace and extend the Christmas festive spirit to Kuching folks.

Learn to cook Ayam Pansuh with Daun Bandung

Do you know what is Ayam Pansuh? Ayam Pansuh is one of Sarawakian Traditional dish/food.  Usually we use chicken meat thats why it called 'Ayam = Chicken'.  The chicken meat is cooked with 'Bandung' leaf @ tapioca leaf and inserted in a bamboo. 

 

The origin of ayam pansuh is not available, but the Ibans and the Bidayuhs (people of Sarawak) always prepare this dish on any celebration days, especially the Gawai Dayak (celebration for the end of harvesting).

Last Sunday, i went to Pullman, then i juz noticed that there is a new cafe at Hills Shopping Mall. Wow, i heard this cafe already opened at Semenanjung a few stores somewhere in KL (well, juz Google it lor) here some photos i want to share

went to The Sarawak ICT Expo 2011, BCCK

On the 26th November 2011, me and my friend Mellisa Carey went to The Sarawak ICT Expo 2011 at BCCK (Borneo Convention Centre Kuching).  Previously, such event was held at Jln Bukit Mata. Before i went there, my target was to buy extra RAM for my Gaming PC (ngeh ngeh ngeh) but unfortunately, the crowd was a massive 'traffic jam'.

 

Short trip to Kota Kinabalu (KK), Sabah

Here a few 2007 photos of me traveled to KK,Sabah. I post it here just for sharing. I also went to Karambunai Resort and Hotels, went to Jesselton Point and many more interesting places in KK.  But at that time i doesn't have any good camera. So, lack of photos.hee soe..

 

Logos Hope in Kuching, Sarawak. (I was there ^_^)

Last Sunday evening, me and my family went to see "The Floating Library",  LOGOS HOPE.  The Logos Hope community of 400 unpaid volunteers from over 45 different countries lives and works together for one purpose - to bring knowledge, help and hope to the people of the world. Inside the ship, there are more than 5000 books.  So, check it out. ^_^
